I led it end to end. It changed where people start on Jotform.

The Gmail AI Agent reads, interprets and acts on incoming email.

Structured extraction, workflow triggers, automatic replies — secure OAuth and scalable execution underneath.

Prompt engineering and evaluation — getting behaviour that holds up in production.

Evals matter more than clever prompts. A prompt that works once isn’t a feature.

Voice AI with ElevenLabs and LiveKit — Jotform’s agents work over voice, not just chat.

Loam’s voice coach is built the same way.

Jotform since April 2021 — intern to Senior Full Stack Developer, now almost entirely AI.

Before that: front-end rebuilds of Inbox, PDF Editor and Form Builder.

Earlier still: a 2019 front-end internship at VBT Bilgi Teknolojileri in Ankara.

Jotform — a form platform used by more than 35 million people.

I’ve been there since April 2021, building the AI agent platform inside it.

TypeScript and React day to day; Node.js, PHP and MySQL on the back end.

Cloudflare Workers, D1 and R2 on my own projects. For AI: prompting, evals, APIs, product judgment.

React and TypeScript mainly — plus Next.js, Redux/Saga, Tailwind and Storybook.

I led the front-end rebuilds of Jotform’s Inbox, PDF Editor and Form Builder.

Node.js, PHP and MySQL at Jotform — auth and integration services, and the scaling around them.

On my own work: Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, Hono and Drizzle.

Loam is React Native and Expo, with Skia doing the visuals.

Design through release, including the App Store side — which is its own discipline.

You type what’s actually on your mind and Loam writes and narrates a meditation for it, in about a minute.

Plus 600+ guided sessions, 188 soundscapes and a voice coach. I worked on design, the app, the backend and the audio pipeline.

Tagly — an open-source JavaScript library that turns an input into a tag component.

GitHub: can-ates for personal work, mcanates for work.

WCAG 2.2 and ARIA 1.2, working alongside accessibility specialists at Jotform.

Keyboard paths, focus order and screen-reader behaviour, on products used by 35 million people.

I care how fast a page paints and whether it’s still fast a year later.

The Inbox, PDF Editor and Form Builder rebuilds were largely performance and responsiveness work.

Fixed injection flaws, hardened authentication, defended against XSS and CSRF.

Unglamorous, and the reason an integration can be trusted with someone’s inbox.

Playwright for end-to-end, and a bias toward testing the paths that actually break.

Keyboard flows and integration edges get more attention than a coverage percentage.

Close to UX, product and AI research — MVPs that move a number, then iterate.

Pair and mob programming rather than big-bang releases.

I mentor junior engineers through pair and mob programming.

I’ve also helped define roadmaps alongside senior engineers at Jotform.
